(More of) What's In The Box?

Here is a second artifact, and a clearer view of the amount of artifacts received.

Just to be clear - The Enlightened "marble marble" is from me. Additionally - the challenge coin was not included, its there to help you gauge the size (and of course show off some another piece of my personal treasured swag from John D !)

  1. That's too small of an angle for Path, Barrier, or Outside. Looks more like Easy, Defend, or Attack. The orientation and proportions on these glyphs make them difficult to accurately interpret.

  2. On the first glance it looks like Defend or Attack, but couldn't it be a rotated we/us as well? Anyone able to count these arrowheads?

  3. So basically a bunch of arrow/spear heads with glyphs on them

  4. I wonder if they're all aligned in the same direction or if the glyphs are right side up when the points are arranged in a circle like the Obsidian anomaly emblem?

  5. I'm going to call the position with the "arrow" pointing down the "down position". In this position there is no known glyph which looks like the one shown here. So the orientation must be different. There are probably 12 or 13 of the arrow, and I'm speculating that maybe they form some sort of puzzle where you have to lay them out in a circle so that all glyphs are correctly orientated. Like the Obsidian Logo.

  6. Mike Wissinger and what, if any, sentence comes out of the arrangement?

  7. It seems that they're all tied, 'together' in a row. And there will be just on sentence can come out in the end, if you place them in a circle. It could start with 'together' in-the-lower-middle-of-the-circle and turn clockwise. If it works this way it's suppose to mean: Together defend... until now.

  8. Defend would be suitable for the Obsidian "shield".

  9. Together defend. Together with whom? Both factions together? Mankind? Enlightened only? Hm, many possibilities.

  10. Go back to the image that emerged of the acolyte blended with a leaf vein pattern and arrow head silhouettes. Perhaps the orientation of those silhouetted arrow heads correspond to there arrow heads. (Not spear heads; they are too small.)

Are the arrow heads (or points) of uniform size? Are there any unambiguous glyphs? (As others has commented, Together could also be Imperfect.) Never mind. I looked again and Together cannot be mistaken as Imperfect.

  11. After a little bit of thinking, i come to the conclusion that it has to start in the upper middle of the circle, and then clockwise, because like the Obsidian Logo every arrow tip points to the middle. But it's still [together defend... ] then, i guess.

Found out that there's an interesting short story by the synonym CrimsonShade around since last year, which contains the Cupid Span and describe it as the first Enlightened Portal.
It seems to be far off story, but who knows?
'Ingress: The Sensitive' is definitely worth reading.

  12. Great discussion thus far! I will say that certain ideas presented agree with theories from our team who has had the opportunity to analyze the entire contents. (Does not mean they are correct, but at least very similar.)

  13. Have you put the necklace on Matt Stevenson? Then we can see the sequence of gylyps assuming each one has a glyph. Of course I would be wary of donning such an artifact. Tread carefully

  14. Richard Pickering I've certainly made no attempt to "use" the artifacts.

  15. those look like GoRuck arrow symbol, so they should point to the right

  16. just looked at some pictures from your other posts, the glyph orientation is correct with the arrow down, bleh
