Project Isthmus and November Lima Team Up For Some Special Missions, With Prizes! We are very happy to announce that the Project Isthmus team has created some special missions for some of the cities on NL-1331's current tour! These missions are based around the Obsidian Artifact images that Project Isthmus released to the public. The rules are simple: 1) The day of the NL event you will find a new mission available in your city 2) Be first (or one of the first) to complete that mission and learn it's pass phrase 3) Return here and make a comment that includes your in-game agent name, and the pass phrase If you are quick enough, you will qualify for a first place prize to be given to you in person by Linda B and Ethan Lepouttre at the NL event! (Yes, you must be present at that event to win. Only one first place prize will be awarded per venue.) I think the contents should be disclosed in the open, or shared with someone other than the Acolyte or Jahan. A neutral party, or at least someone not obviously allied to either cause.
ReplyDeleteDrew Swenson Surprisingly enough, that's what a lot of people over in Operation Essex are thinking: public disclosure and if possible, hand off to a neutral party.

ReplyDeleteMustafa Said Currently the ones with the boxes contents hold the power. Therefore, they get to dictate how this plays out, they make the rules.
ReplyDeleteI am personally in favor of rejecting both offers and instead releasing the information to Hank Johnson. Give him a head start with the info and see what illumination or suggestions he can provide before later following through with public disclosure.
ReplyDeleteMustafa Said to be honest, this choice was our suspicion all along. As to how we feel about it, and how to proceed - we've been discussing those things also, since late Saturday night...
ReplyDeleteJahan and the Acolyte both have many secrets. Trading information about the box for them seems to be the only way to get either of them to open up. I hate giving either of them a strategic advantage but making a deal (and keeping the secrets until then) could end up with more knowledge to share in the end.
ReplyDeleteI'm more in favor of not sharing it with either the acolyte or jahan, but it's hard to make that decision without a more clear picture of what's in the box, realistically you're most likely the best person to make the decision at the moment Matt Stevenson
ReplyDeleteHank Johnson, Klue S., and H. Richard Loeb seem like the closest things to neutral, or "honest brokers" that the Ingress world has to offer. Hank uses ENL green XM, but is fair in treatment of the RES. Vice versa, I think, for Klue and Loeb.
