"You see the waves. I see the water."

"You see the waves.  I see the water."

The Acolyte has used this phrase many times for as long as she's been in the public eye... What does it mean?

Here are three different shells, one given to Nicole Kraler, one to Matt Stevenson, and one to myself.  Their journey will be quick, but our journey with the shield of Obsidius appears to be just starting...

Is there significance to the shells themselves? We know Martin Zehetmayer made a post on Operation Essex about one he too received.  A good discussion has been started here: https://plus.google.com/+MartinZehetmayer/posts/6FftTXyJE8g

  1. Interesting that all of the chosen shells eschew the Nautilus spiral.

  2. I'm especially fond of the slight alteration of the phrase in her message to me...

  5. Well they, waves, start out small and get larger as they go if being fed by something like wind. The shells all do that too, kind of like Ingress started out small and has grown larger. Also, portals,XM etc....until it gets large enough that it takes on a life of its own. Yet at the heart it's still the individual. But as a whole it's humanity but still starting as the individual. We see waves she sees the water. We see individuals she sees humanity. Same with portals, XM etc....

  6. All of it for us is the little stuff, for her it's the big stuff.

  7. I wonder if it's something to do with (xm/energy), "Some energy waves need a medium, such as water or air, through which to travel. The medium moves back and forth as waves carry energy through it, but it does not actually travel along with the wave." . There's also this Buddhist quote "Enlightenment for a wave in the ocean is the moment the wave realizes that it is water.”
    ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

  8. Waves are what we see. Water is the medium which transports them. We see the the impact of the shield (missing xm). I wonder if there are other things going on in the background what we cannot see?

  12. Well, I've heard that water doesn't move before but it does. When dye is dropped in the ocean the movement can be tracked. But I like the idea of of seeing the water as seeing the actual H2O, perhaps as a whole or as each individual combined. I think the Acolyte would see each individual combination with all the others. Who really knows at this point? But the shells are an indication she sees the entire result of us combined. Having it grown so large from a single point that it now has a life of its own. Roland Jarvis said XM is always there we just don't see it. Perhaps the shield being activated took away our ability to see it as well wjth our scanners but we do know it's still there. Just not as obvious it has became more invisible perhaps until we build build a better scanner or remove the shield.

  13. A shell is the result of a pattern that is repeated. It is formed from the elements in the environment around it, laid down one molecule at a time. Tiny additions eventually create a much larger structure; a structure with coherence and strength.

A shell is safety and protection. It is where the inhabitant retreats to avoid danger.

I have seen a photo of the Acolyte in Vienna making a sign with her hands. I interpret that as representing a shell.

The shell is a signal to us and a portent of what is to come.

Good Quote there, as I'm of the opinion that the Shells and the Acolytes message are the same. BigMatty sees the water, he has Enlightened and sees that he is a part of something more than just the wave. The shells are a growth of waves, but when you step back you can see the whole Shell. Matty, and The project now understand that they are part of something bigger than themselves.

  15. Matt Stevensonwas it your shell that had the 3 lines meeting in the middle ? I can't recall which of the 3 I saw belong to who.... That's the same symbol as the Shield of Obsidian if so....

  16. hmm, there's an audio conversation with Jarvis that might shed some more light on this:

  17. Richard Sheldon Seems to me the water Jarvis is describing is a metapher for a global consciousness. We are all part of the water but our mind is a spike, a wave, that is unique for a short time. As a wave we will perish and return to the water - to the 'Ultimate'.
May this  consciousness is shared between all life in all universes? But what is XM then? Is the glue that holds everything together?
(sorry, no native speaker, it's just a little bit difficult for me to express my thoughts)
