Questions Surrounding Flint Dille's Ingress Gaming Meetup
Over the last couple days we've seen a familiar set of events unfold. Susanna Moyer was contacted with a cryptic message (http://investigate.ingress.com/2016/05/03/susanna-receives-a-clue/), which was quickly decoded and analized by the Ingress community (http://investigate.ingress.com/2016/05/05/a-mission-in-san-diego/).
There are a lot of questions right now - and rightfully so, most of the Investigators are focused on answering them... However, its easy to overlook something - there is one thing that we know... flint dille will be at the UCSD Filmatic Festival this weekend! (Barring any unforeseen problems he may have.)
Investigator Anoxic Guan will be attending this event (https://plus.google.com/+AnoxicGuan/posts/BvfY1Tu32Mo) and has agreed to take a list of questions from Project Isthmus members with him. (Note - there is no guarantee Flint will be able to answer them all, but it never hurts to try!)
Please reply to this post, using the comments section to list question(s) you're hoping Anoxic can get an answer from Flint on.

ReplyDeleteWhat is the Obsidian Shield actually doing? Is it blocking anything besides XM? The messages we get from hacking portals haven't really changed. So, are the messages just in the portals and completely random or is there some intelligence behind them and still sending them? I know they are called Shaper glyphs, but if they are only Shaper glyphs, then there must be a division in the Shapers themselves, hence the warnings about the Shapers. I.E. Avoid Shapers Lie. Will you explain this to us please ? The same portal gives us warnings and encouragement. To me it is just random, please tell us more about these messages.
ReplyDeleteMichel Barbour I do not think the messages come from the portals. I think they come from the scanner. They are presented to us in the presence of portals, our response to them is recorded and analyzed.
ReplyDeleteAh, thats is very interesting, Typhoon Jim. That makes a lot more sense. But, that also raises some questions. Who put them in the scanner and who is analyzing them for what purpose?
