Hi all, joined Ingress yesterday and interested in learning about lore and glyphs. Was pointed here by someone in faction chat. I have no idea how to use G+ so please pardon any technical errors I may make.
Anyway, what should I do to start learning?

    As a level 1-5
    Venture out to a nice park during the day time. Explore the portals that are conveniently located near you. Walk around, capture and hack portals. Complete the training missions to understand the scanner and how to play the game. There are some good training material out there.     I will look at training missions, I don't think I've checked those out yet. I hit level 5 earlier today though, it seems I'm at a pretty advantageous location.

    To be clear, I'm figuring out the game all right; I just want to know where I can get caught up on lore and glyph syntax, etc.

    Yeah, I have no idea what to make of the contradictory glyphs. The discussion linked above helped, but I still want confirmation! I'm up to Operation 13Magnus in the Youtube channel, so maybe I'll start forming some of my own theories once I get up to date.

    Hal H one of the reasons I believe there are the contradictory glyphs - I belive there is more than one sender of the glyphs, each with their own agenda.

    Impressive progress so far on checking out the lore, nice work!

Glyph Talk 1/5: The Senders I’ve got a series of related topics and theories when it comes to the glyphs and the glyph language we see coming from the portals. In this first post, I’m going to focus on the senders themselves.
