I drew a ton of glyphs this morning for one thing. Suggestions on new glyphs that fit our current ones. By that i mean every glyph i drew today is either a mirrored or flipped version of another glyph. My reasoning? Because we know there is a relationships between glyphs and their mirrored, flipped, opposite, etc glyphs. Its logical that instead of making new glyphs, that the mirrored, flipped, opposite, etc glyphs would come into the system before any real new ones are made. I could be wrong about that, do not take my word for it.
Most of these glyphs have already been a topic of conversation for people who study glyphs. Achim Many have been questioned on why they arent in the system or why glyphs like Easy and Difficult are so different and not mirrored or flipped, while others like Success and Failure are. So some of these are definitely familiar but i wanted to get everything in the same place.
Again you are probably asking why. Well, because the biggest issue i see with this is that there are 199 glyphs sitting right here that need names. Not just made up names but names the symbolize them properly. Some thing that i feel require the suggestions of not just one or two agents but many. So if your interested, suggest some names!
Andrew Krug said on one AMA that they were thinking about having agents vote on glyphs. Nothing beens said since but i figured why not take the initiative! Why not suggest glyphs i know people have asked about first, before we make ones that are completely different. At least this way, its not as if all of these will be too unfamiliar. They hopefully wouldnt be too difficult to fit into our system and who knows, maybe we can have a bit of fun with this. Please be mindful and respectful.
I invite everyone to make up some names. Have fun with it, comment on the pictures that have the glyph you want to name and if you feel like it, share! Lets start a glyph study like no other!
also please forgive my drawings, i kinda messed up on a couple. :P And no... I wont stop giving them ideas.
