Hello! We have created a survey for the Obsidian Artifacts/NL-1331 event series. This survey is for everyone & is being done so that we may gather information to pass along to Niantic. http://goo.gl/forms/IHa4fPxdUm   There is more depth to this survey than you would see at first glance - so allow us to explain a little.  It should be obvious that a big chunk of what we hope to accomplish with this survey is, literally, feedback about the event. Glyph Talk 2/5 - Glyph Theme: Togetherness In this second post about glyphs, I’m going to begin to look at some of the particular conceptual themes that keep appearing in the glyph messages. Indianapolis Project Isthmus & NL-1331 Contest Winners (And Honorable Mentions!) OMG! What an amazing turn out to instance 4 of 4 on the Project Isthmus and November Lima Obsidian Artifacts mission challenge!  Yesterday was incredible to see! We had 36 agents complete the mission AND post here on G+.  The Mission Maker control panel shows close to 100 agents completing the mission in total. Simply incredible turn out, thank you all!  Matt Stevenson tells me there were so many agents he had to obtain the screen shots over three or four separate sessions, as "scanner running hot" kept triggering - our second "good problem to have" in a week ;-) We have received interest and questions about future instances of this, or similar contests. Because this was both our "first run", as well as the fact PI only released four Obsidian Artifacts, this completes the series. It is our hope that this paves the way for many similar events in the future, not "just...

Project Isthmus and November Lima   Team Up For Some Special Missions, With Prizes! (Day 4 / Release 4 Thread) Continuing the exciting new mission contest series we started with Linda B  and Ethan Lepouttre earlier in the week as they tour NL-1331 through many great cities, on their way to the Orlando anomaly! Addressing A Good Problem To Have (YES We Are X-Fac!) Hello everyone! Today it was brought to light that our Project Isthmus effort would benefit from some further clarification.  Quite simply - I awoke to several people either asking "Is PI X-fac?", or if they already knew - telling me "hey, people do not understand y'all are X-fac." At first glance this caught me off guard... You see, I've of course watched 100% of all of our communication. (Okay, to be honest I need to catch up a little in the PI Street Team HO, there is A LOT of conversation going on there!) Glyph Talk 1/5: The Senders I’ve got a series of related topics and theories when it comes to the glyphs and the glyph language we see coming from the portals. In this first post, I’m going to focus on the senders themselves. Before I begin I want to set out a couple of definitions.  -- A meme is an idea or concept that spreads from person to person within a culture. -- A memetic language is a language based on units of culture.   Based on the research gathered from around the world and shared with me (thank you Agent Codon011), I want to propose three theories.   Theory 1: Glyphs are a universal memetic language. Theory 2: There are two different ideological groups of senders. St. Louis Project Isthmus & NL-1331 Contest Winners (And Honorable Mentions!) Today was the kick-off of the Project Isthmus and November Lima mission contest, and we could not be happier with how it went!  Only 11 minutes after the mission about the first glyph / Obsidian Artifact went live, Kelly Sommer snagged first place! Wow! She was followed just a few minutes later by Carrie Bradfield and then Mike Wissinger .
